The rules that apply when creating an account, purchasing passes, creating rooms, playing online, and using KLUON support.
These documents apply to bank-transfer orders, account passes, and online play during the current paid beta. Registration details will be added here and in the site footer after business and mail-order registrations are complete.
These Terms govern use of the website, accounts, paid passes, online murder mystery play, and related customer support provided by the KLUON operator (the ‘Operator’).
Individual product pages, order confirmations, the Refund and Cancellation Policy, and separate operating notices form part of these Terms. If they differ, the more specific terms disclosed to the consumer take priority.
The Operator publishes these Terms where Members can readily review them. Material changes will be announced in advance with their effective date and reason.
Material changes adverse to Members will normally be announced at least 30 days in advance; other changes, at least 7 days in advance. Where advance notice is impracticable because of a change in law or an urgent security measure, notice may be provided promptly after the change takes effect.
Before purchase, the Operator displays the story title, recommended group size, estimated time, price, number of uses, validity period, delivery method, and refund terms on the product page.
Creating a bank-transfer order does not complete payment. The purchase contract is formed and the digital Pass is supplied when the Operator confirms payment and issues the Pass.
If a price or product description is clearly incorrect, or supply is impossible because of availability or operating circumstances, the Operator may cancel the order before the contract is formed and will return any money already received in full.
Order cancellation, statutory withdrawal before or after digital content use begins, service failures, and refund processing follow the separate Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Members must review the refund terms and the notice that withdrawal may be restricted once digital content use begins. If the service differs from its advertising or the contract, Members may exercise the rights provided by applicable law.
The Operator may perform maintenance, security work, content updates, or server migration to provide the service reliably. Planned interruptions will be announced in advance where practicable.
If normal play becomes impossible due to the Operator's responsibility, the Operator will review the progress and scope of the failure and provide a replacement Pass or refund. For temporary third-party network failures, reconnection and recovery support will be attempted first.
Rights in KLUON stories, text, images, screen designs, and software belong to the Operator or their lawful owners.
Beyond personal play, users must not reproduce, distribute, perform, or sell full story text, answers, private cards, endings, or play materials without authorization. Reviews must warn readers about spoilers to protect other users' experiences.
The Operator may restrict use after prior notice where it confirms violations of law, payment abuse, attacks on the service, impersonation, or repeated interference with play. An urgent security risk may be restricted first, with the reason given afterward.
Members may request account closure or exercise privacy rights through customer support. If unused paid Passes or a pending refund remain, closure may be completed after settlement.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator is responsible for direct loss caused intentionally or negligently. Liability may be limited for loss caused by a Member, an unsupported environment, or external communications failures beyond reasonable control.
Disputes should first be discussed through customer support. If unresolved, the parties may use consumer dispute mediation or the court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
